Hi to everyone out there, I'm sorry I don't have any photos for you today, I have been very sick with a middle ear infection and bronchitis, I am due to fly to England on Tuesday and I'm not sure if it will go ahead as yet. I am on very strong antibiotics and lots of other medications to try and shift it. I have been praying hard for my recovery and would appreciate any prayers or good thoughts from you all out there, thank you in advance. I have recieved my special apron and my twelve free stamp sets from Stampin'Up! and have yet to mount them all, but I think they may have to wait for my return from England now. Lori has sent me e-mails to let me know she is safe and having fun on her travels, she is in Cambodia now. We have acquired Lori's cat who is named Noah, the dogs are not impressed! So Noah goes out the front door and the boys go out the back door. Oh well hopefully I will send a hi from the UK but if not I will bring photos home to show you all in Nov. Oh I must change my details on here , as today we celebrated our twenty third wedding anniversary.Take care all and stay crafty, lots of inky hugs from...

Some more swaps...
Hi All, Well as promised here are some more of the swaps I made for the convention. Inside these cute little books on a key chain are some pos-it-notes. I got the idea of making these from a blog which I visit regularly in the us, it belongs to a very talented lady called Angie, so thanks for the inspiration. I made twenty of these and they went really fast. I got lots of really nice swaps back so it was worth all the effort, I will do it all again for the next convention too. I hope you enjoy your visit today. Take care and stay crafty! lots of inky hugs from...

Regional Swaps
Hello all, WOW! I had sooo much fun at the Perth convention on Sat. I was sat at a table a table with my good friends Ingrid, Marg, Marie and Lynne, we stamped and were all given a new stamp set which will be released in our next mini catty. It is called 'Live your Dream' and that was exactly what I was doing on Saturday. I felt so blessed to be a part of the excitement and camaraderie that exists in the wonderful company of Stampin'Up!®. We had so much fun and it was so special to have my close friends with me, so if your reading this, thankyou for coming along with me. I made thirty two swaps and this is a picture of a few of the lip balm holder ones that I did, it was great fun to swap with all the other demonstrators, I made some little key chain post-it-note holders too, I'll post them on here tomorrow for you to see. I can definitely recomend being a part of the Stampin'Up family, they are so generous with all their resources and incentive gifts for their demonstrators, we had the great pleasure of being able to watch two of their American demos come over and wow us with their incredible talent and humour, it was a wonderful day, we made four projects with our new stamp set, we saw some great demos by some very special demonstrators including my very talented upline Makeesha and her upline Ngaire Anderson who just so happens to be this years demonstrator of the year, Ngaire gave us all some business tips. and now I really want to go to the big convention next year in Canberra. If ever you were thinking of joining up with a stamping company please do yourself a favour and consider Stampin'Up!, I would be happy to tell you more about this great company, so feel free to contact me by e-mail and I will get back to you to tell you about all the amazing benifits of being a demo or just keeping it as a hobby for you to gain access to the resources and wonderful gifts etc. I also hold monthly get togethers which are free for anyone who joins with me, we do swaps and learn new techniques together, I can also e-mail classes and projects to anyone who would like to join up but doesn't live near by. Incase you didn't know I LOVE Stampin'Up. Thank you to all of you who swapped with me and I will endeavour to get onto your blogs and e-mail you, take care, lots of inky hugs from...

Ingrid's Birthday card!
Hello paper crafters, I know it's been a while since my last post for father's day, I have been struck down by the dreaded flu! First my DH got it, then my DD and then she kindly shared it with me. I'm not feeling the best and I have to try and make a whole heap of swaps for our regional convention on Sat. here in Perth. I'm so excited about going as it will be my first Stampin'Up!® event. I will tell you all about it after I've been. I made this card for a dear friend who has been away on a great holiday, she was away for her birthday, but I gave this to her on her return home. I used my one of my favourites from the mini called 'Always', I embossed with some of Stampin'Up's gor-jus gold embossing powder. The background was so much fun to create but you can't really see all the colours on it from this photo, I used the 'Sanded' and the 'En Francais' background stamps, I used sponges to mix on several different colours including: River Rock, Groovy Guava, Apricot Appeal and Regal Rose. I used the mat pack to create the faux stitching around the card and the tag punches for the happy birthday tag, some yummy Choc Chip taffeta ribbon down the left hand side. I also used the half inch circle punch to cut out all those little flowers, but had to use scissors to cut out the others and the hearts. I hope Ingrid liked it as much as I had fun making it. Take care all and try and avoid this flu, lots of inky hugs from...

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's day to all you dad's out there, the card on the top is the one I sent to England for my dad even though father's day in England isn't today. I always send him one on the Aussie father's day so he can celebrate one with all my siblings and then another with me. I will be home to give him a big hug soon! The card on the bottom was made last week for a good friend's birthday. I love making these little shirts and I showed my friends who came on Tuesday for a stamp and chat session how to make them too. Oh well I hope you all enjoy a wonderful day spoiling your dad's and those of you who can't, please remember them fondly. Lots of inky hugs from...

Lucky last from the Stamp-A-Thon.
Hi All, This is the last project from this years Stamp-A-Thon which my upline Makeesha held to raise funds for the breast cancer foundation.
We used the set called Season of joy which you can find in the current mini. I love this set and it can be used with the set called Priceless which is in the main catty, the two sets have very similar flourishes in them and there for lend themselves to be mixed and matched. We used the So Swirly wheel on the background of this lovely Purely Pomegranate card stock, we then cut some of the new paper from the Holiday Harmony designer series, this was topped off with some scrumtious satin ribbon (Purely Pomegranate) A couple of brads and it's begining to look a lot like Christmas! Thanks for visiting with me, lots of inky hugs from...

Number seven...
Hello fellow paper crafters, I'm having a hard time designing tonight and one of my new downline is in need of some simple Christmas cards for tomorrow! Mmmmm!!!!! Oh well I'll take this time to show you all number seven from the S.A.T. Once again I wasn't concentrating on what I should of been doing and my card turned out a little different to the one that Makeesha had designed for us. My ribbon is on the wrong side, I made this mistake several times on the day and I'm not left handed so I can't make that excuse, I was just having too much fun! I bet after seeing all the fabulous projects we made you are all wishing you could of been there too, well make sure you book in quick next year. I'm not a Bold Brights sort of person, but I really love this card and how fresh it is. We used one of the cute fruits from Tart and Tangy, a set from the mini. We used my favourite technique of rock-n-roll with the orange. The crop-a-dile was used for some dry embossing and gave this card some texture.
I'm going to go and look for my mojo now and see if I can come up with something before two in the morning, which seems to be my best hour. Take care all and stay crafty. Lots of inky hugs from...

Something other than a card!
Hi All, Well here is something a bit diferent to normal, it's another project from the S.A.T. and it's a cute little post-it-note holder. Just incase you didn't notice, there's no stamping on this one. The double sided designer paper is from the current mini called : Summer Picnic, the coordinating ribbon is Real Red striped grosgrain from the main catalogue. Several punches were used to make this cute keepsake and they included: Scallop circle, the 1and 3/8 circle and the 1'' circle. As you know I'm a big fan of 3D items and this is a particular favourite, thanks again Keesh! I hope you like it as much I had fun making it, thanks for visiting. Lots of inky hugs from...
